Interesting Facts About Coins!
Many children are familiar with coins like,(penny's, nickels, dimes, quarters, and half-dollars). In this concept map I show the correct value of each coin, and tell how many coins of each denomination will equal to a dollar. Also in this concept map are pictures and facts about the Presidents whom are on each coin. I enjoyed learning how to use the program Inspiration. I thought this was interesting, and many students who learn to use this program can benefit from it. I found the features this program offers are very simple to use, and easy to navigate through. I would love to have this program for my students in the classroom to use, and others like it. I think becoming familiar with this program will allow the students to become very creative in their work. Some students would probably find the Inspiration program fun and exciting to use, and would enjoy creating work if they could use this. The NETS-T standard applied in this activity is" 2.Design and Develop Digital-Age Learning Experiences and Assessments a.design
or adapt relevant learning experiences that incorporate digital tools
and resources to promote student learning and creativity. This standard can be beneficial for the teacher to follow, because there are many resources, and technology that can used to improve a students learning and creativity. To name a few that meet this standard I would use in my classroom for my students are Inspiration, different web tool addresses, such as abcteach.com, and puzzlemaker/school.discovery.com.
